Those stones are still on the bridge and I myself lifted one in each hand on many occasions and one market day, I carried them across the bridge and back, some four to five yards - Donald Dinnie.

Lifted the large blue stone (about 320lb) for 10 consecutive reps •5 Apr – Stone lifting – at Potarch Hotel, by Banchory, Scotland. Lifted the two Dinnie stones together unassisted 3 times. Also lifted the large stone for 20 reps with Right Hand •5 Apr – Stone lifting – at Crathie, Scotland. Lifted the 265lb Inver stone to neck/chest height
